I thought I was smart using the pattern from my teacup as a tattoo design, until I went through my blog and realised I've already done that at least once before. Oh well.

Vuoden kahdeskymmenes perjantai

First I spent a long time colouring this picture with markers, pencils, ballpoint pens and felt tip pens, and once it was ready I grayscaled it and slapped some "overlay" and "colour" layers on it, and it just turned out so much better.

Good thing I'm such a patient person, otherwise I might feel a bit annoyed right now. The first one is the original, the other one is the photoshopped version.

Colours come from the song "672" by The Dresden Dolls. I had a good feeling about this picture but then... it went... kind of away. Oh well. At least I'm happy with the skin tones.

Victory rolls are made of win. I know they're kinda misplaced, but, yeah.

Oh, thank god, I'm back to normal. I may read 'Hogfather' this month, but other than that I don't really care about December. Fairytale of New York never was my favourite Pogues song either. (Rainy Night in Soho, Sit Down by the Fire, Pinned down and Dark Streets of London are. And pretty much everything before 'Peace and Love'.)

My mother asked me whether this is the same person I was drawing some days ago. She ment the one in my last post.
Somehow she always thinks my men are supposed to be women and the other way around. Need to draw more beards and bigger breasts, I guess. Might be fun.
